Online Booking Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Welcome to Maison Lumiere Aesthetics By Dr.Lydia. These Terms & Conditions explain the arrangements for booking appointments at our aesthetic clinic in Ireland.

By making an appointment through our website, you acknowledge these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

Our priority is to provide professional, individualised aesthetic care while maintaining appropriate standards of safety, transparency and patient confidentiality.

1. Online Appointments and Bookings

1.1. Appointments may be requested through our website or booked using the contact methods made available by the clinic.

1.2. Please provide accurate contact details when booking and notify us of any changes that may affect your appointment.

1.3. Your appointment is confirmed when you receive confirmation from the clinic or our booking system.

1.4. Online booking allows you to reserve an appointment for consultation and assessment. It does not automatically guarantee that a particular treatment will be performed.

1.5. An in-person consultation and suitability assessment must take place before treatment. Depending on the procedure, additional assessment, investigations, patch testing, medical clearance or a further appointment may be required.

1.6. Please allow sufficient time for your consultation. Where appropriate, treatment may be scheduled for a separate visit.

2. Consultation and Treatment Suitability

2.1. All treatments are subject to an individual assessment by an appropriately qualified and authorised practitioner.

2.2. During your consultation, your practitioner may discuss your medical history, current medication, allergies, previous aesthetic treatments, skin condition, expectations, potential risks, alternatives and expected recovery.

2.3. You must provide accurate and complete information relevant to your health and proposed treatment. Please inform your practitioner of any changes to your health or medication before treatment.

2.4. We reserve the right to postpone, modify or decline a treatment where it is considered clinically inappropriate, contraindicated or potentially unsafe, or where applicable legal or professional requirements have not been met.

2.5. If treatment is not suitable, your practitioner will explain the relevant reasons where appropriate and discuss possible alternatives or next steps.

2.6. Where treatment cannot proceed following consultation, any applicable consultation fee and payment arrangements will be those clearly communicated before booking. No treatment fee will be charged for a treatment that has not been provided, except where a separate, lawful charge has been clearly agreed for a service actually provided.

3. Deposits, Payments and Prices

3.1. We do not currently require a deposit to make an appointment.

3.2. The price of a consultation or treatment will be communicated before you commit to the relevant paid service. Where a price cannot reasonably be determined in advance, we will explain how it will be calculated.

3.3. Payment is due in accordance with the arrangements communicated by the clinic, ordinarily following the consultation or treatment unless otherwise agreed.

3.4. If your practitioner recommends an alternative treatment or additional service, the relevant price will be explained before you decide whether to proceed.

3.5. No additional treatment or paid service will be undertaken without your agreement.

3.6. Any future changes to our deposit or payment policy will be communicated clearly before they apply to a new booking.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

4.1. We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

4.2. You may cancel or request a change to your appointment through [booking system], by emailing [email address], or by contacting the clinic on [telephone number].

4.3. Please include your name, appointment date and time when contacting us about a cancellation or rescheduling request.

4.4. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible.

4.5. We do not currently require a deposit, and this policy does not itself impose a cancellation fee. If the clinic introduces a cancellation charge in the future, the amount, circumstances and applicable terms will be communicated clearly in advance and will be subject to applicable consumer law.

4.6. If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your appointment where clinically appropriate or arrange another appointment to avoid affecting other clients. We will discuss the available options with you.

4.7. Our 24-hour cancellation policy does not replace or restrict any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights that may apply to your booking.

5. Clinic Cancellations and Changes

5.1. In exceptional circumstances, we may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment due to practitioner availability, unforeseen circumstances, equipment issues or other operational or safety concerns.

5.2. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment where available.

5.3. If you have paid for a service that the clinic is unable to provide, any refund or other remedy will be handled in accordance with your legal rights and the circumstances of the booking.

5.4. We will not require you to proceed with a treatment where doing so would be clinically inappropriate or unsafe.

6. Medical History and Patient Responsibilities

6.1. Your safety depends on the accuracy of the information you provide during consultation and assessment.

6.2. Please disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, previous procedures and other circumstances that may affect your suitability for treatment.

6.3. Where relevant, inform your practitioner if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning pregnancy or experiencing a skin condition or other health issue that may affect treatment.

6.4. You should follow the pre-treatment and aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner.

6.5. Please contact the clinic if you are uncertain whether you should attend for a planned treatment because of a new illness, medication change, skin reaction or other health concern.

7. Aesthetic Treatments, Risks and Results

7.1. Our services may include anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, facials, skin treatments, prescription-based treatments and other aesthetic procedures offered by the clinic.

7.2. Each procedure has its own indications, suitability criteria, risks, limitations and aftercare requirements. These will be discussed with you as appropriate before treatment.

7.3. Results vary between individuals and may depend on factors including anatomy, skin condition, medical history, lifestyle, treatment type and adherence to aftercare instructions.

7.4. We do not guarantee a particular cosmetic result or outcome. However, nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your legal rights where a service is not provided in accordance with applicable law.

7.5. If you experience an unexpected reaction or have concerns following treatment, contact the clinic promptly. Seek urgent medical attention for serious or rapidly worsening symptoms.

8. Prescription-Based Treatments

8.1. Prescription-only medicines may be provided or administered only where the applicable legal requirements have been satisfied.

8.2. Any proposed prescription treatment is subject to an appropriate clinical assessment and any necessary prescribing decision by an authorised prescriber.

8.3. A booking, consultation or request for a particular medicine does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued or that treatment will be provided.

8.4. Prescribing and treatment decisions are based on clinical suitability, patient safety and applicable professional and legal requirements, rather than a patient's booking preference alone.

9. Refunds and Prepaid Services

9.1. As we do not currently require deposits, no deposit is payable when making an ordinary appointment.

9.2. If you purchase a consultation, treatment, package or other service in advance, the applicable price, payment conditions and any package-specific terms will be communicated before purchase.

9.3. Refund requests will be considered in accordance with the terms agreed at purchase and applicable law.

9.4. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any refund, remedy or other consumer right that you are entitled to under applicable law.

10. Online Booking Cancellation and Consumer Rights

10.1. Depending on the nature of the booking and the circumstances in which the contract is made, Irish consumer law may provide a statutory right to withdraw from certain online service contracts.

10.2. Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, we will provide the required information about the applicable time limit, how to exercise that right, and any lawful conditions relating to services requested during the withdrawal period.

10.3. Where applicable law requires an online cancellation facility, we will make the appropriate facility available.

10.4. Certain exceptions and additional conditions may apply depending on the service and contract. The clinic will not assume that an appointment is exempt from statutory cancellation rights merely because it has been scheduled for a particular date.

10.5. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights under Irish or applicable EU consumer protection law.

11. Privacy and Personal Information

11.1. We collect and use personal information necessary to manage bookings, communicate with clients, provide services, maintain appropriate records and meet our legal obligations.

11.2. Information concerning your health is subject to additional protection under data protection law. We handle such information in accordance with applicable requirements, including the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, as relevant.

11.3. Our separate Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we process it, the applicable legal bases, how long we retain it, any relevant sharing with service providers, and your data protection rights.

11.4. Where we use third-party booking systems or other service providers, personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

11.5. Appointment-related communications are separate from promotional or marketing communications. Marketing communications will be managed in accordance with applicable data protection and electronic marketing rules.

12. Treatment Consent and Clinical Records

12.1. These Terms & Conditions govern the booking arrangements between you and the clinic. They are not a substitute for informed consent to an individual treatment.

12.2. Before treatment, you will receive appropriate information about the proposed procedure, material risks, expected benefits, alternatives and aftercare.

12.3. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and decide whether to proceed. Where required, specific treatment consent will be obtained and documented separately.

12.4. The clinic may maintain appropriate consultation notes, treatment records and other clinical documentation in accordance with applicable legal, professional and data protection requirements.

13. Complaints and Feedback

13.1. If you have a concern about your booking, consultation or treatment, please contact us at [email address] or [telephone number].

13.2. We aim to handle complaints fairly, respectfully and within a reasonable timeframe.

13.3. If you have a clinical concern following a procedure, please contact the clinic promptly so that it can be assessed and appropriate advice can be provided.

13.4. Making a complaint does not affect your statutory rights or any other remedies available to you.

14. Updates to These Terms & Conditions

14.1. We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes to our services, booking procedures or applicable legal requirements.

14.2. The applicable terms will be made available before you confirm a booking. Changes will not remove statutory rights or retrospectively alter an existing agreement except where permitted by law.
